CSEFEL Have you heard of it?

So last night in my Guiding the Young Child class, I was introduced to this new model of  guiding children in their social and emotional responses.   The state of NC is dedicated to retraining all childcare centers in this model. Hmmm, we've really not covered much of it yet but that's what we will be studying this semester.  So far only eleven states are participating in this.  Here is a little of what they say:

CSEFEL has developed a conceptual model of evidence-based practices for promoting young children’s social
and emotional competence and for preventing and addressing challenging behavior. This model is referred to
as the Pyramid Model for Supporting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children. CSEFEL has
evaluated data from the first five years of implementing the Pyramid Model in several states and they believe
that the Pyramid Model is a sound framework for early care and education systems.
